Data/BI Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Data/BI Engineer (GCP) to join our team and help us build scalable, efficient, and reliable data solutions in the cloud.

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL and ELT pipelines using GCP services, primarily Dataflow (Apache Beam).
• Build and maintain cost-efficient, high-performance data models in BigQuery, including query optimization, partitioning, and clustering.
• Implement real-time streaming data solutions.
• Manage and govern data storage using GCS, ensuring secure and reliable access and integration with other cloud services.
• Work with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL — optimize complex queries, implement indexing strategies, and support analytics use cases.
• Develop data transformation logic in Python for ETL jobs, including API integrations and automation scripts.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues across data pipelines and databases.
• Contribute to data infrastructure reliability — implement backup/recovery, replication, and high availability strategies.

• 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience in both batch and streaming data processing.
• Upper-intermediate or higher level of English.
